Food Safety Information
The BOPP [STM] Corona film offered by IBF Graphica S.A. is approved for contact with all types of food and complies with EU regulations: 1935/2004, 10/2011, and 2023/2006. Tests have shown that both overall migration levels (max. 2.2 mg/dm²) and specific migration levels (e.g., aluminum – 1 mg/kg, zinc stearate – 5 mg/kg) remain below permitted limits. The film can be used for storage exceeding 6 months, including hot filling or heating up to 100°C for a maximum of 10 minutes. The heavy metal content does not exceed the 100 mg/kg limit. The product also contains permitted “dual-use” substances for food contact, such as E330, E551, and E471. IBF Graphica emphasizes that the final assessment of suitability for specific applications is the responsibility of the end user.
