A disposable paper cup created in accordance with the principles of the SUP Directive. This plastic directive shows preference for sustainable and non-toxic products.

The presented disposable cup is completely safe in contact with food and is heat-resistant.

According to Article 7 of the SUP Plastic Directive (Directive 2019/904 Single Use Plastics), products must be labelled as being made partly or wholly of plastic. From 3 July 2021*, the EU Single Use Plastics Directive requires turtle graphics on beverage cups that contain any amount of plastic. The European Union has included biobased and compostable materials, such as PLA, in the definition of plastic, so the new rules for all traditional cups.* Draft legislation implementing the provisions of the SUP Directive into Polish law is at the opinion stage.
