The sealing container is made from polypropylene (PP). Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material that is strong, rigid and resistant to a wide range of factors, making it ideal for applications such as food packaging. The sealing container is divided into two compartments, allowing two different types of food to be stored separately - the salad can be packaged separately. This design prevents the contents from mixing and allows different ingredients to be easily stored in one container.

The container is reusable, so the provisions of the SUP Directive do not apply - we do not charge for the container.

  • The prevailing opinion among recyclers is that light-coloured containers are highly desirable! Recyclers are looking for light-coloured, white, transparent waste, as this is easy to discolour into the colours expected by recyclers.
  • Changes in consumer habits have made eco-design of packaging one of the most important trends of recent months. Eco-design of packaging has to include not only the production stages, but also what happens at the end of the product life cycle.
  • The topic of colouring plastics is a very important part of the discussion on eco-design of products and their reuse.
  • Guidelines for eco-design in terms of abandoning the black pigmentation of (virgin) plastics will soon be included in the EU eco-design regulation ESPR.
